IN THE KITCHEN: BRUSSEL SPROUTS
So after baking and eating more sweets than usual, I also have a craving for something super healthy and hearty. So I was flipping through my old issues of VT and came across a new winner, Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Dried Cranberries. This is an easy dish and the best part it can be eaten for lunch or dinner.

IN THE KITCHEN: NUTELLA COOKIES
As promised here is the recipe for the Nutella cookies. I figured since the chocolate chip and snicker doodles are so common, I would just jump to the highlight of the holiday treats. These cookies are very easy, the only time consuming part is letting the dough set in the frig for 2 hours or overnight. Just be careful not to eat all of the Nutella, it sure is good.

HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND
This week was another busy week, wrapping up a wedding invite, marathon training and prepping for Christmas. I know last weekend I planned on baking, but this weekend I am dedicating my Sunday to baking my gifts this year. There will be a lot of happy bellies next week.

I have been a huge fan of Rifle Paper Co. for a few years now. Anna Bond’s illustrations are so sweet and perfect. I noticed that she is offering custom holiday cards, so cute! If I didn’t wait until the last minute I would totally have cards created. I have also been eyeing these super cute coasters.

IN THE KITCHEN: RAINBOW STIR-FRY
Last night I made this colorful dish, and it sure was yummy. Again this recipe came straight from Vegetarians Times, December issue. PERFECT BRANDING
As a graphic designer, it is always a challenge to design a catalog or brochure for a brand because you have to keep that brands identity clear. I think that is why I am so drawn to this editorial from Vogue Japan. I love the use of the designers logos within the styling, just brilliant.

I am always wary of singers/actresses becoming fashion designers, but when I saw Victoria Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection I was impressed. I absolutely love the use of scalloped color blocking, the playful patterns and quirky silhouettes. I can definitely see myself wearing these dresses every day.
