HAPPY FRIDAY
This week was another great week. I welcomed a new iPad into my life and now wonder how I functioned without it. I also feel guilty because now I am ignoring my phone. I am hoping to get outside ride my bike and get coffee with some friends.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
These editorials are so crazy, they kind of remind me of the Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The first image is from a series called “Salad Times” by photographer Richard Burbridge.

IN THE KITCHEN: VEGAN BLUEBERRY MUFFINS WITH CREAM...
Over the weekend my good friends put together a nice get together brunch. I am a big fan of brunch, so I decided to make one of my favorite brunch items, blueberry muffins. They were a hit; I think I ate about 5, which is rare because I rarely eat what I bake. I especially love that I added cream cheese frosting; it’s was a nice touch.

FOODIE WEDNESDAY: HOTCAKES BAKES
First off today is my lovely, amazing, beautiful mom’s birthday.
